Adding memory to your PC

One of the easiest ways to make it your computer run faster is adding or upgrading your RAM memory and it doesn't take a specialist to do it. The bigger the memory capacity of the computer, the more application can be opened at same time. Nowadays the memory is getting cheaper and more affordable.

First thing first, determine the maximum memory capacity that the motherboard can support. Then, unplug the computer and open your computer case to get slots called DIMMS. A new RAM is can be added directly to the available slots next to the current memory in the computer.

Next, the RAM should be removed by wearing antistatic wrist band. This prevents an electrostatic damage on the memory. After that aligned the RAM with the slots and make sure the retainer clips for the RAM are open. Slowly, push it down. The final stage is plug in the computer and switch on.
