We used cups everyday. Cups have been used in all over the world. Everyone knows ‘what a cup is and what it is for’ but few people know how to make a cup. I will now show you the steps involved in making cups.
First, the dry clay powder is placed in a container and water is added to it. The water and powder are mixed together and any excess water is removed. Then the mixture is shaped into flat shapes.
Next, the shapes are pressed into cup moulds, and handles are added. Then the moulds are put in a kiln and they are dried. After drying, the rough edges are smoothed off before the cups are baked in a kiln. Before the cups are baked in a kiln, it is very important to make sure that the kiln is at the correct temperature. This is to avoid from melting. Finally, the cups are decorated. Another important step before sending the cups to shop, it is important to check the cups if there is any damages. Any imperfect cup is rejected. The good cups are packed and sent to retail outlets.

Cups are very important to us, but how many of us know the steps process in making the product!
